Full-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant

We are the first fear free certified hospital in the Midwest so applicants must be excited about learning gentle restraint and non adversive methods of treatment as well as learning to read body language and other signs of stress in dogs and cats. We are customer-service oriented, so the applicant should possess both strong client service skills and strong technical skills. We are looking for self-motivated, positive, confident, friendly team players. The ideal candidate would be personable, self-motivated, possess strong customer service skills and be team focused. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Safely and properly practice gentle restraint and fear free distraction on feline and canine patients.
• Proficient in the use of food filled muzzles, towels, gentle restraint for fearful animals.
• Exam room nursing including preparing vaccines, restraint, nail trims, creating estimates, participating in client education, assisting as directed by team members

Part-time or Full-time Kennel Technician

The Paw Patch Place is seeking to hire a part-time or full-time dedicated, hard-working, compassionate person to join our team as a Kennel Technician.

  • Must love animals!
  • Must possess good cleaning skills and have no aversion to cleaning up after pets
  • Must be willing to work Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
