We are the first fear free certified hospital in the Midwest so applicants must be excited about learning gentle restraint and non aversive methods of treatment as well as learning to read body language and other signs of stress in dogs and cats. We are customer-service oriented, so the applicant should possess both strong client service skills and strong technical skills. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Safely and properly practice gentle restraint and fear free distraction on feline and canine patients.
• Proficient in the use of food filled muzzles, towels, gentle restraint for fearful animals.
• Exam room nursing including preparing vaccines, restraint, nail trims, creating estimates, participating in client education, assisting as directed by team members
